We started Meridian with a simple belief: financial advice should serve the client, not the advisor. Twenty-two years later, that belief drives every decision we make.
In 2003, our founders left a large brokerage firm because they couldn't keep recommending products that made the firm money but didn't serve clients well. They started Meridian with three principles: charge a transparent fee, give honest advice, and always put the client first.
That decision cost them two-thirds of their income in year one. But it earned them something more valuable — the trust of families who stayed with them for life.
Today, Meridian manages over $2.1 billion for more than 1,200 families across America. We're still independent, still fee-only, and still answering our own phones. The firm has grown, but the principles haven't changed.
We're SEC-registered, fiduciary-bound, and answerable to no one but you. No parent company. No proprietary products. No conflicts of interest. Just honest advice from people who care about your future as much as you do.
We tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. If we can't help you, we'll say so. If your plan has a problem, we'll flag it directly.
We don't chase quarterly returns. We build plans that work over decades — through market crashes, life changes, and everything in between.

Meridian donates 1% of annual revenue to financial literacy programs across Ohio and the tri-state area. We believe everyone deserves access to honest financial education — not just those who can afford an advisor.
Our team volunteers over 400 hours per year teaching financial planning basics at community colleges, high schools, and nonprofit organizations. We also sponsor free retirement planning workshops open to the public four times per year.
